Not all of Illinois is drying out but parts have been able to skip some rain and storm events. That’s good news after what has been a record run of wet weather. Brian Kerschner with the state climatologist office says it the past 12 months have been a year to remember weather wise.

There is still plenty of rain in the forecast over the next week for the state, especially in the northern part of the state.
