MT. VERNON — On Tuesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

28-year-old Joseph Smith of Fairfield was arrested Monday on a bond forfeiture warrant.

33-year-old Nicholas Decker of Humble, TX was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Monday for possession of meth less than five grams.

32-year-old Lindsey Bradford of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Monday on a probation violation.

26-year-old Chenay Thomas was arrested by Illinois State Police Monday for driving on a suspended license.

52-year-old John Twiggs of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Mt. Vernon Police Monday for resisting / obstructing a peace officer.
