CENTRALIA — Bail has been set in Clinton County court at $35,000 for a 23-year-old Centralia man arrested Sunday on meth-related charges.
Blake Ross was charged Monday in court with Class X felony delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine and Class 1 felony possession of between 15 and 100 grams of meth.
Ross was advised in court of the possible penalties of the charges if he’s found guilty. A Class X felony is punishable by between 6 and 30 years in prison, while a Class 1 is punishable by between 4 and 15 years in prison. Probation isn’t an option for a Class X conviction.
The next court date in the case was scheduled for May 8, for a preliminary hearing and a first appearance with the defendant’s court-appointed attorney.
