Tammy Lou Pike, 55, of Opdyke, Illinois passed away at 11:25 A.M.April 24, 2019 at her residence in Opdyke, Illinois. Shewas bornFebruary 29, 1964 in Rochelle, Illinois to Laurence Wilbur Fisher and Helen Margaret (Scheper) Fisher. She married Donald “Don” F. Pike, Jr. on May 10, 1991 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with nearly 28 years of marriage.
Tammy is survived by hermother, Helen Fisher of Mount Vernon, Illinois; two children, Amanda Lee Pike of Evansville, Indiana and Jake Pike of Alton, Illinois; brother, Larry Fisher and wife, Janet of Cynthiana, Indiana; sister-in-law, LesiaGreifzu and husband, Dean of Fairfield, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and uncle, Duane Fisher and wife, Sandi of Como, Texas.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Laurence Wilbur Fisher.
Tammy worked as a Nurse Practitioner. She was a member of Opdyke Missionary Baptist Church. Tammy loved horseback riding, camping and fishing, and deer hunting. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A Visitation will be held from5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. An afternoon visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral service begins at2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Neal officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.Memorials may be made to the Opdyke Missionary Baptist Church.
