Naoma Trout Richardson, 90, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 2:04 A.M.April 20, 2019 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was bornSeptember 21, 1928 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Ralph Trout and Laura (Chapman) Trout. she married Harold Eugene Richardson on May 12, 1943 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. They were blessed with 72 years of marriage until he preceded her in death.

Naoma is survived by hertwo sons, David Richardson and wife, Jody of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Timothy Richardson of Dixon, Illinois; nine grandchildren; foster son, Terry Whaley and wife, Nancy of Rochelle, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; one sister, Sherry Lampley and husband, Gerald of Thompsonville, Illinois; and brother, Ronnie Trout and wife, Kay of Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Naoma was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Judy Webb; son-in-law, Lloyd Webb; eight sisters; and seven brothers.

Naoma worked at the Salem World Color Press for over twenty-two years as a feeder and binder. She attended the West City Church of God. Naoma will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

A Visitation will be held from5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held at1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Hughey Funeral Home with Reverend Ron L. Trout and Reverend Harol Whitlock officiating.  Interment will follow atMateer-Davis Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the West City Church of God.
