FRANKLIN COUNTY — A Florida man was injured in a semi crash in Franklin County Thursday night.

Illinois State Police say 45-year-old Edmund J. Falk of North Palm Beach, FL was driving his semi south on I-57 and milepost 80 when he swerved from the right lane and into the median. The semi overturned in the median.

Falk suffered minor injuries. An ambulance took him to Franklin Hospital in Benton. He was later released.

Falk was charged with improper lane usage and operating an electronic communication device while driving.
