FRANKLIN COUNTY — A Mt. Vernon man was arrested for domestic battery after Benton Police were called out to the 100 block of West Adams Street Wednesday morning in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Police say 26-year-old McKenzie N. Green was charged and taken to the Franklin County Jail.

A West Frankfort woman was charged for driving while license revoked after Benton Police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of East Main Street Wednesday afternoon.

Police say 35-year-old Bernice L. Santillan was taken to the Franklin County Jail.

A Benton man was charged for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and driving while license suspended after Benton Police conducted a traffic stop in the 11000 block of Highway 37 early Thursday morning.

Police say 58-year-old Richard E. Larson was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
