CENTRALIA — Centralia police are being praised for saving a young boy’s life Wednesday.
According to posts on social media, the child wasn’t feeling well and as his mother pulled into the Walmart parking lot he began to vomit in the car and then he began to choke.
The boy’s mother stopped her car, pulled the child out of his car seat and began screaming for help.
Centralia police officers Michael Peebles and Blake Stricklin happened to be there and reportedly jumped out of their car and pulled the child from his mother’s arms, took action to save the child from choking and got him breathing again.
