The Jefferson County 4-H program will be hosting robotics day camps next week. The camps will be held at the Jefferson County Extension Office in Mt. Vernon.

A beginner session will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. each day. That session is suggested for those in fourth and fifth grade and don’t have previous robotics experience. An intermediate session for those who have participated in the beginner session or are in sixth or seventh grades will be held from noon to 3 p.m. each day. There will also be an advanced sessions for those in eighth grade or older, but it will also be open to sixth and seventh graders with robotics experience. The week long day camp series will conclude with a robotics competition on Saturday, June 30.

You do not need to be a 4-H member to attend, but advanced registration is required. Cost is 20 dollars per child. You can contact the Jefferson County Extension Office if you have any other questions by calling 242-0780 or visiting their website here.
