Maxine Douglas, 82, of Mount Vernon, IL, transitioned into God’s presence at 9:45 A.M. Friday November 17, 2017 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital.

Her homegoing will be, November 25, 2017 at 12:00 Noon, visitation will be at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon, Illinois with her Pastor Patrick Rice officiating, Eulogy will be delivered by longtime family friend Reverend Ronald Johnson of New Bethel Baptist Church of Centralia, Illinois. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois.
