Bail has been set at $200,000 for a 25-year-old Mt. Vernon woman who was arrested Friday for alleged drug-induced homicide.

According to court records, Zia Flowers is accused of delivering a substance suspected of being heroin to a man who then died of an overdose on Nov. 12.

The investigation is ongoing. Flowers remains in the Jefferson County Jail awaiting the formal charges.

Drug-induced homicide is a Class X felony punishable by six to 30 years in prison.
