Carol L. (Chizk) Chambliss, 70, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 7:05 P.M.November 18, 2017 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Shewas bornNovember 14, 1947 in Mount Vernon to the late Abner L. and Dorothy “Eva” (Terry) Chizk. Carol married Roger Chambliss on March 14, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois. They were blessed with 52 years of marriage.

Per Carol’s request, there will be no public services held.

Memorials may be made in Carol’s honor to the American Cancer Society or Summersville Baptist Church.
