(MARION, IL) — A Paducah man was injured in a motorcycle crash in Williamson County Sunday afternoon. Illinois State Police say shortly before 2, 67-year-old Roger C. Bernard was going south on I-57 at milepost 49 when he lost control of his motorcycle and traveled into the center median. Bernard was ejected from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet. He suffered major injuries and was airlifted from the scene to a regional hospital. No charges have been filed at this time by ISP as the investigation into the crash is pending.
