(CARBONDALE, IL) — A Grand Tower man is in the Jackson County Jail after Carbondale Police officers responded to the 1000 block of North Hunter Woods Avenue regarding a report that he unlawfully entered a residential garage Saturday afternoon. According to a Carbondale Police report, the resident said he was in the front yard of his home when he saw 25-year-old Joshua B. Jordan walk through his backyard and into his garage. The man entered the garage to confront Jordan, who turned to reveal he had a knife in his hand. The resident called 911 and Jordan fled the area on foot. A Carbondale Police K9 unit was deployed to track Jordan. Jordan was found hiding in a backyard around four blocks away. Jordan was arrested without incident and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to real property and was transported to the Jackson County Jail.
