(Carbondale, IL)  —  Shoppers in Carbondale can now add earthquake preparedness to their list of things to do at the mall.  The Illinois Emergency Management yesterday unveiled a new earthquake education kiosk at the University Mall.  Planners say it’s important for people to know what to do in the event of an earthquake. The New Madrid fault zone includes portions of southern Illinois.
