IUKA, IL — A barn and its contents were destroyed by fire Tuesday night in rural Iuka. Fire Chief Kenny Eagan reports the blaze started near a heat lamp being used to warm ducks at the barn on River Road. The 40 by 60-foot barn, along with a pickup truck, side-by-side, and lawn mowers, were lost. The fire was contained to the barn, with no other buildings threatened. Firefighters remained on scene until 10:35 PM.
