John A. Logan College – Due to forecasted severe weather conditions, John A. Logan College will dismiss all classes and suspend operations at Noon on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Classes for the remainder of the day will operate under remote learning. All College facilities, including the extension centers and Logan Fitness, will be closed. Please note that 24/7 access to Logan Fitness will remain available. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to stay informed by monitoring local media, the College’s social media channels, and the official website at www.jalc.edu for campus updates.
Johnson County Schools — 1:00 Dismissal
Johnston City Schools – will dismiss early today. Jefferson, Lincoln and Washington will dismiss at 1:50 p.m. JCHS will dismiss at 2:00 p.m. All after school activities including Latchkey have been cancelled.
Kaskaskia College – Due to serious forecasted weather conditions and an elevated risk of tornadoes in our area, Kaskaskia College’s main campus and all education centers will close at 12:00 PM today, Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Rend Lake College campuses will close today, April 2, at 1:00 p.m. due to the forecast of afternoon storms in the region. All classes and events scheduled after 1:00 p.m. are canceled.

Woodlawn Grade School and Woodlawn High School will dismiss at 2pm today April 2 in order to get everyone off the roads before the predicted inclement weather arrives. The WGS after school program is also cancelled today.
