CENTRALIA, IL — The Centralia City Council, at their recent meeting, authorized Good Energy to seek bids for a new electric supply contract as the current one expires in May. The recommended two-year contract aims to protect against potential price increases in the energy market. The council also approved a sidewalk project for Jordan School and Edgebrook Lane, set to begin in 2026, and a $12,000 grant for improvements at the Centralia House Restaurant.
