CENTRALIA, IL — A 35-year-old Centralia man was injured in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday night. Police say Taylor Jacklin was riding his bicycle, pulling a garden cart, when a white Honda Accord struck him in the 500 block of West Broadway. The driver fled the scene. Jacklin, who was standing and walking when emergency responders arrived, was transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for evaluation. Authorities are still searching for the driver.
