Linda S. Holmes, age 81 of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Twin Willows Nursing Center in Salem.

Linda was born on November 27, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Gilbert and Edna Heck. She married Leroy Holmes and they later divorced.

Survivors include her daughters, Tina Greenwood of Salem and Angela Burgman of IN; grandchildren, Hope Warren, Lacy Turner and husband Robert and Cody Greenwood; and great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Aurora, Emily and Jack.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda was of the Christian faith. She worked as a waitress and later as a factory worker until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, and visiting with her friends.

Graveside services for Linda S. Holmes will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:00 am at Paradise Cemetery in Salem with Denise Burke officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:45 am until 10:45 am at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association and can be received at the funeral home.
