SALEM, IL — The Marion County Sheriff’s Department and Salem Fire responded to three crashes late Friday afternoon and Saturday night. The first, a two-car collision on South College Road, involved drivers Ronald Schultz and Sheri Heser. The second crash was a truck with mechanical problems off Route 37; the driver was uninjured. The third, on North Hotze Road, occurred when Steve Kinderman lost control of his vehicle. He declined hospital treatment.
