SALEM, IL — This is one of those stories that you just couldn’t make up if you tried.
A homeless Salem woman was arrested after witnesses say she stopped traffic on Selmaville Road and jumped on a pickup truck. 36-year-old Jolee Graham faces charges including criminal damage to property. She’s no longer homeless though. Her new home is now a cell in the Marion County Jail. Graham, who had previously been deemed unfit to stand trial in a methamphetamine possession case, had been released and was undergoing treatment at the time of the strange incident. Apparently, that treatment wasn’t working out, and it remains unclear how she was released from treatment prior to the incident.
