MARION COUNTY, IL — A man from rural Iuka was arrested Monday afternoon following a high-speed chase on Route 161. Marion County Sheriff Kevin Cripps initiated the pursuit after recognizing 43-year-old Jason White, who was wanted on multiple warrants. Speeds exceeded 100 miles per hour before White crashed his motorcycle while turning. He was taken into custody and faces charges of fleeing police and driving on a revoked license, in addition to warrants from other counties. White was locked up behind bars in the Marion County Jail.
