IUKA, IL — A man from Iuka was arrested Sunday morning on weapon and domestic battery charges. 32-year-old Tyler Powless is accused of firing a gun in a pole barn during an altercation. The shots were reportedly fired away from those involved. Powless also faces two counts of domestic battery after allegedly pushing two people. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies took him into custody, and he is currently awaiting a court appearance and a decision on formal charges.
