SALEM, IL — A Salem woman was arrested Sunday for aggravated battery after allegedly pushing or shoving a 76-year-old woman. Salem Police responded to the incident around 8:30 AM on Sunday, where 37-year-old Amanda Moore was reportedly asked to leave an apartment where she had been staying. The altercation occurred when the elderly victim and her step-son attempted to remove Moore. No injuries were reported. Moore was taken into custody and then locked up in the Marion County Jail.
