MT. VERNON – The City of Mt. Vernon Public Works Department will conduct road patching on South 42nd Street, just north of Goodwill, weather permitting, Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

While the roadway will remain open to traffic, one lane will be temporarily closed.

Flaggers will be controlling traffic to ensure safety and minimal disruption.
