CENTRALIA – A Centralia man was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Tuesday on federal charges of Distribution of Child Pornography.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Leith A. Hiltibidal was taken to the Jefferson County Jail where he is lodged on a federal hold.

His arrest was a direct result of a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office investigation, initiated on May 17, which resulted in search warrants being issued for electronic equipment and Hiltibidal’s home in Centralia, which was served on July 1.

Once completed, the investigation was turned over to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for review and criminal charges.
