CHRISTOPHER – The Christopher School District announced on Facebook Monday that district administration were made aware that a student brought one 9mm bullet to school at Christopher Elementary. Local law enforcement and the school’s threat assessment team were immediately contacted.

Officials say the student didn’t make any threats. It was determined no students were in danger. Disciplinary actions will be taken in accordance with state law and Christopher’s school code. The safety and security of students will always be the school district’s top priority.

Monday’s incident was resolved in a quick and safe manner because students reported it to administration.
