WEST FRANKFORT – Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Logan woman after meth was found in her vehicle after she was stopped on Illinois 149 near I-57 in West Frankfort early Thursday morning.

According to Sheriff Kyle Bacon, 29-year-old Conetta S. Bailey was driving the vehicle that was stopped just after midnight.

During the course of the stop, deputies developed probable cause to conduct a search of the vehicle and contents. As a result, Bailey was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Bailey was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. She was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
