JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is alerting motorists that a crash on eastbound Interstate 64  has closed the interstate from US 51 — the Centralia/Ashley Exit — to the Woodlawn Exit until further notice.

The EB entrance at Woodlawn is open. Traffic will be detoured into US 51. 

Please avoid the area if possible.
