CENTRALIA — Mary Barry, 77, of Centralia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.
She was born on Wednesday, September 11th, 1946, in Clearance, Missouri, to the late Leopold and Martha (Ellyson) Pridemore.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Seabern Barry of Centralia; three daughters: Twila Donoho of Salem, Dianna Boyer of Salem, and Camille (Barry) Jones and husband Les of Ashley; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her sister, Thelma Pridmore of Centralia; sister-in-law, Violet Arnoldy of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, a grandson: Kenner Helm and a great-granddaughter: Amora Long.

Mary dedicated 30 years of her life as a Plant Superintendent at Rockwell/Cambridge. Her hard work and dedication left a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a member of the Evergreen Christian Church in Salem. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Per Mary’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
