CENTRALIA — Jason Edwin Opolony, age 46, of Centralia, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital.

He was born on Wednesday, April 20th, 1977 in Centralia, IL, the son of James Opolony and Deborah (Nofrey) Opolony. He married Allison Slusher and she preceded him in death on September 10, 2023.

Jason is survived by his father and mother, James and Deborah Opolony, his two sons Dalyn Opolony of Salem, IL and Gavyn Opolony of Sedalia, MO, three step-sons Nick Slusher, Chase Gordon, and Riley Gordon, one step-daughter Kira Gordon, two sisters Erica Schmidt and Melissa Sproat, nephews and nieces Eriana, Lance, Lucas, Logan, Jordan, Michael, and Gabriella.

He is preceded in death by his wife Allison Opolony, his grandparents Wilmer and Norma Nofrey, Stephen and Rita Opolony, and his Uncle Dennis Opolony.

Jason was employed at Conagra and was well-loved by his family and friends. Jason will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.
