MOUNT VERNON — The Mt. Vernon City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting tonight, when they’ll hear multiple requests for permission to seek bids and quotes for multiple projects including for the financing of the downtown park.

The council will hear a resolution approving an agreement with Ready Rebound, and another to amend the City’s Loss Prevention Program.
Mayor John Lewis will then give a presentation for the Officer of the Year.

The council will then adjourn to an executive session where they’ll address the sale and lease of real property, the appointment or employment of personnel, and imminent litigation.

These items and others will be addressed at 7 p.m. tonight in Council Chambers of City Hall at 1100 Main in Mt. Vernon.
