MOUNT VERNON — Rosalee Fryar, 85, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024, in Mt. Vernon, IL.
She was born on October 9, 1938, in Ina, IL to Joseph & Veneta (Tyler) Kohut.
Rosalee enjoyed her time at Heritage Woods, where she had her own apartment and cherished her independence. She formed many meaningful friendships with fellow residents over the years and often reminisced about the good old days.
Mrs. Fryar is Survived by daughter Debi Morgan and husband Charlie of Bonnie, sons Jerry Lampp and wife Connie of Tinley Park, Billy Lampp of Bonnie and stepson Terry Fryar & wife Tracey of Benton. Grandchildren Crystal Clarke and husband Matt, Eric Morgan and wife Stephanie, Amber Lampp, Chad Morgan and wife Devin, all of Mt.Vernon. Cassie Morgan and wife Kate of Durham, NC, Nicholas Lampp & Travis Lampp of Tinley Park and Sydney (Lampp) Gregory and husband Zane. Great grandchildren Chase Eldridge, Mason Clarke, Cadence and Ethan Morgan, Emerson Morgan, and Eisley Gregory.
In addition to her parents, Rosalee was preceded in death by her son Charles Lampp, sisters Bonnie Moore and Geraldine Ramsey, brother Joseph Kohut and her 3 husbands Donald Lampp, L. A. Tolley & Billy Dave Fryar.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 13th at the Bakerville Free Will Baptist Church in Bonnie with Pastor Robert Craig officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery in Belle Rive. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 12th at the Bakerville Free Will Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to SSM Hospice or Bakerville Free Will Baptist Church.
