MOUNT VERNON — The Mt. Vernon City Council will have a second reading tonight during its first regularly scheduled meeting of the new year of a proposed ordinance increasing the number of liquor licenses available in the city.

The council will also be asked for permission to bid on South 44th Street Phase II Frontage Road Construction and improvement of Ilberry Road and Heritage Avenue.
A resolution will be introduced for the council’s consideration to accept a quote from Schultz for the recent Lead Service Survey.

These items and others will be addressed at 7 o’clock tonight during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Mt. Vernon City Council inside the council chambers of Mt. Vernon City Hall at 1100 Main Street in Mt. Vernon.
