(IRN) SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Illinois Secretary of State’s Office has revealed its vanity license plate so-called “naughty list.” Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias (jee-ah-NOO-lee-us) says more than 300 personalized license plate requests were rejected this year due to profanity or offensive language.
According to the secretary of state’s office, some of the rejected plate requests this year include terms like MILFS, POOPSY, and IOWASUX.
A total of over 7,600 license plates have been rejected by the state. Illinois motorists pay an extra $94 dollars for a new vanity plate, which contains all letters.
