Bundle up before you leave home today, the National Weather Service has issued a weather statement that winds will increase this morning causing already chilly temperatures to drop even lower.

According to the weather service, wind gusts of 30 to 35 miles per hour are expected, bringing wind chill values of 20 to 25 degrees to most of our listening area.

Overnight temperatures are expected to fall into the teens in many areas, with light snow showers possible.
