CENTRALIA — William “Bill Ray” Myers, 66, of Centralia passed away on November 21st, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born on August 26th, 1957 to Larry D. Myers and Carolyn Renyolds. He later married Lee Ann Myers and she survives.

Along with his wife Lee Ann, Bill Ray is survived by his children Holly Flautt and husband Josh, William J. Myers, Rae Ann Myers, Molly Jones, Natasha and Alex Burks; brother-in-law Jim Klingenberg and friend Connie, and John Klingenburg and wife Priscilla; Norman Myers, Tisha Myers, Debbie and Bill White, Tammy Kaufman, Teresa Myers, Bobbi and Jerry Patton, and Terry and Katy Myers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Eva Baggette.

Bill Ray was a Navy Veteran, and was proud of his service to his country. He enjoyed assembling model cars, and doing anything that dealt with cars. He enjoyed listening to rock music. Bill Ray loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

Per Bill Ray’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a visitation will take place at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home on November 27th, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Six Lemons and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801, who is honored to be of service to the Myers family.
