WAYNE COUNTY — A 45-year-old Wayne County man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident earlier this month in Cisne that resulted in North Wayne Schools being placed on lockdown.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, deputies arrested Dennis Galbraith shortly after his release from an area hospital where he was being treated for a gunshot wound following a domestic violence situation.
Galbraith faces charges of aggravated domestic battery and violating an order of protection. He was also wanted on an outstanding Edwards County warrant for domestic battery.
Galbraith is being held at the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held with no pre-trial release. A preliminary hearing is set for December 19th in Wayne County Court.
