SALEM — Iron Saddle in Salem will be hosting their own IPRA-sanctioned pro rodeo this weekend.

The event is recognized as a Top Five Best New Rodeo Venue by the International Professional Rodeo Association. The two-day event will feature both the Miss Rodeo USA and Miss Teen Rodeo USA in attendance to carry the flag.

The Rodeo Queen Pageant will start at 2 p.m. Saturday, in the arena. Coronation will take place at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Miss Iron Saddle Rodeo Princess, Miss Iron Saddle Teen Rodeo and a Miss Iron Saddle Rodeo will all be crowned that night, with the teen and miss queens both going on to compete for the titles of Miss Teen Rodeo USA and Miss Rodeo USA.

Again, gates open at 4 p.m. Friday to kick off the two-day event at the Iron Saddle Ranch at 3734 Cross Road in Salem.
