MARION COUNTY — The Marion County Treasurer’s Office is reminding property owners the second installment of the 2022 payable in 2023 property taxes is due Wednesday, September 27.

According to the Treasurer’s Office, there are multiple ways to pay your tax bill, including in person at the Marion County Courthouse, online, at ilmarion.com, by phone at 844-934-2444, a secure drop box at the west side of the Marion County Courthouse, or by mail.

Most banks in Marion County will take your property tax payments on or before the due dates listed on your bill.

People are advised to check for payments, especially if they bought or sold a property, settled an estate, transfer a property or paid off a mortgage within the last year or pay taxes for a relative.
