IUKA, Ill. — Dorothy Ann Hutton, 83, of Iuka, passed away at 2:57 p.m., Monday, July 24, 2023, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.

She was born December 25, 1939, in Iuka, Illinois, the daughter of Roy and Celestnia (Hill) Simmons.  On June 1, 1963, in Springfield, Illinois, she married Gerald Hutton, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2023.

She is survived by three sons, David Hutton of Iuka, Steven Hutton of Gladstone, Missouri, and John Hutton, currently serving in the United States Army, in Fort Gordon, Georgia; one grandson, Joshua Hutton; and brother, Howard Roy Simmons.

In addition to her husband, Gerald Hutton, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Hutton will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the Donoho Prairie Christian Church Family Life Center, with Matt Renaud officiating.  Interment will follow at Donoho Prairie Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.  Memorials may be made to Donoho Prairie Christian Church and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O.
