CENTRALIA — Barbara Burns, 69, of Centralia, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Barbara was born April 15, 1954 in Centralia, the daughter of Roosevelt Burns and Ophelia (Bradford) Jeter.

Barbara is survived by a daughter: Ava Burns of Phoenix, AZ; brothers: Joe Burns, Julian Burns, Earice Burns, Earlando Burns, and Darren Burns; sisters: Mildred Burns and Areta Burns; also surviving is many nieces and nephews.

Barbara enjoyed traveling, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was of the Christian faith.

A Celebration of Life Service for Barbara Burns will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Elder Joseph Burns officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Funeral Home from 11:00 am to the time of service.
