MOUNT VERNON — The Painted Cowgirl will host the Wheat Harvest Festival this weekend at 18808 N. Old Salem Lane in Mt. Vernon.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Vendors will have antique, farmhouse, repurposed furniture, and more and Pete Staley will have a live consignment auction at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Then on Sunday, Pastor Kent Hails will hold Cowboy Church at 10:30 a.m., with music provided by DJ Opie.
