SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Illinois’ newest FFA Vice President is from our listening area. Eric Wisely, of Nashville, was elected to the seat during the annual state convention last week in Springfield.

Others elected to statewide office were Thad Bergschneider of Franklin as President, Cooper Nelson of the Canton FFA as Reporter, Riley Kessler of the Staunton FFA Secretary, and Ben Bremmer from the Pearl City FFA as Treasurer.

Wisely had previously served in multiple positions within the Nashville FFA and said in his candidate resume that the sign of a successful FFA career is an outgrown jacket.
