WALNUT HILL, Ill. — Jerry Lee Gregory, 55, of Walnut Hill, Illinois, passed away on June 15, 2023, at his residence in Walnut Hill.

He was born June 15, 1968, in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Russell Gene Gregory and Joreta Lea (Berry) Gregory.

Jerry is survived by his parents; son, Russell Seth Gregory of Clearwater, Florida; brothers, Michael David Gregory ad wife, Amanda of Champaign, Illinois, and Russell Darrin Gregory of The Keys, Florida; and nephew, Nick Gregory of Herrin, Illinois.

Jerry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Claude and Julia Berry, and paternal grandparents, Georgia and Conrad Harold “Buck” Gregory.

Jerry enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He loved the ocean and spending time relaxing on the beach. He loved people and made everyone happy. He could light up a room with his presence. He was a wonderful father, son, brother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Christian Church (12 Greenview Church Rd. Centralia, Il.  62801) from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Reverend John Klockenga officiating. Memorials may be made in Jerry’s honor to St. Jude or the American Heart Association.
