CENTRALIA — Joseph John Skabialka, 58, of Centralia, passed away, Sunday, February 5, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born July 31, 1964, in Nashville, Illinois, the son of Marion J. Skabialka and Pina M. (Marble) Skabialka. He married Agnes Ann Urbanski on February 7, 1998, and she survives in Centralia.

In addition to his wife: Agnes Skabialka of Centralia, he is also survived by his four children: Emily, Jordan, Alishia, and Corwin; seven siblings: Goldie Sherwood, Dona Cameron, Mike Skabialka, Mary Kennedy-Swinford, Danny Skabialka, Suzie Skabialka, and Sandy Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joseph worked as a truck driver for 20-plus years. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends.
