NASHVILLE, Ill. — Richard Lyle Logan, 41, of Nashville passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

Lyle (Bubby) was born January 14, 1981, in Springfield, IL, the son of Charles Logan and Michelle Reincke Ellis.

Lyle is survived by his fiancee Kimmy Evilsizer of Nashville; his father: Charles Logan and wife Kim of Joplin; MO; his mother: Michelle Ellis and husband Terrell of Carlyle; six brothers: Charles Logan of Corpus Christi; TX, Joseph Reincke of St. Louis, MO, Josh Sullivan of Joplin, MO, Allen Jesse of Naperville (in-law), and Mark Ellis of Smithton and Cory Ellis of Smithton; four sisters: Heather Barnum of Oskaloosa, IA, Christina Logan of Naperville, Bessie Logan of Joplin MO and Marissa Logan of Marissa; 20 nieces and nephews: Zachary Logan, Kymbre Brenning, Brett Haas, Jayce Hollon, Taylor Logan, Kaylee Logan, Jordan Logan, Ezekiel Reincke, Timothy Howell, Austin Barnum, Ashley Seery, Logan Jesse, Aveyah Sullivan, Ziona Sullivan, Phynix Sullivan, Kaytlyn Sullivan, Kayce Ellis, Karsyn Ellis, Tori Ellis, and Taylor Ellis; 2 Best friends: Edward Ohlsen and Melissa Maye.

He was preceded in death by Juanita Reincke, Della Logan, Darwin Logan, Grant “Sonny” Logan, Deborah Kirkpatrick, Melvin Haas Jr., and Kevin Ohlsen.

Lyle was a big-hearted country boy. He loved the outdoors. He adored all of his nieces and nephews who affectionately referred to him as Kunko. Lyle loved his family, his friends, and God. He will be dearly missed by those that knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating.

A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart, Ill.
