CENTRALIA — Greg Session, 64, of Centralia, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at SSM St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO.

Mr. Session was born November 24, 1957, in Centralia, the son of Bud Session and Harriet (Garland) Session. He married Rita (Troutt) Session on August 2, 1985, and she survives him in Centralia.

In addition to his wife Rita, Mr. Session is survived by his daughter: Siccley Session and fiancé Micah Sensel of Centralia; grandchildren: Va’Lon “Bub” Williams and Tru Session of Centralia; bonus son: Craig Session, wife Molly, and children of Charlton; childhood friend: Randy Laughhunn; Session Boys nephews; and several other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Session was preceded in death by his parents: Bud Session and Harriet Session; mother-in-law: Viola Troutt; sister: Beverly Pasco; brother: Larry Joe Session; and sisters-in-law: Rosemary Tate and Patty McHenry.

Mr. Session was a backhoe operator for many years. He was also an owner/operator of his own construction business. He enjoyed hunting, cooking barbeque, and playing golf. He loved to watch his grandson, Va’Lon, play baseball. The family would like to thank Macey Gettinger and all the staff for the wonderful care during this difficult time. He will be dearly missed by those that knew him.

A graveside service for Greg Session will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Woodlawn.
