SANDOVAL — Ruth “Ruthie” Elaine Horton, 76, of Sandoval, went to God’s Manson on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 1:10 pm, surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born October 12, 1945, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Leroy Browder and Helen (Braden) Browder. She was married to Tim Horton for 36 years and was Blessed with 42 years together.

In addition to her husband: Tim Horton of Sandoval, she is also survived by her two sons: Kenny Mullins and Kevin Mullins and wife Kerri; grandchildren: Shiloh Waldon, Leanna Banes and husband Charlie, Tabitha Hall, Abigail Hall, Lloyd Hall III, Annah Grace Mullins, Danny Mullins and Aaron Mullins; step-grandchildren: McKenzie Hahn and husband Zachary, Tiffany Jenkins and husband Victor, Kyle Obermier and wife Lee Ann, and Joseph Douglas; five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Larry Browder and wife Betty, and Donnie Browder; three sisters: Brenda Roach, Dixie Reed, and Mitzi Browder Troxtell and husband Randy; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends: Connie Herbert, Sheila Dagg, Julie Orrell and Tammy Buchanon.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leroy & Helen Browder, her two sons: Ronald Browder and Lloyd Hall, Jr., three sisters: Anita Shoemaker, Glenda Ellis, and Lindie Gentry, and two brothers: Danny Browder and Jeffrey Browder.

Ruth was always a hard devoted worker. Her last job was at Gold Mine Gaming. She also enjoyed playing her video gaming machines. Ruth was a tremendous cook, especially making her famous chicken and dumplings for her entire family and sometimes friends. She loved growing her cherry tomatoes every summer. Ruth cherished her family and would do anything for them or anybody at any given time. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her Boogs. Loved and never forgotten. She was of the Baptist Faith at the Rock Church in Centralia.

Funeral Services for Ruth will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022, at The Rock Church in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. Entombment will follow at the Hillcrest Lakeside Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, and also on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service at The Rock Church in Centralia.
